J4JAYS Summer 2025
The summer of 2025 wasn’t just warm weather and long evenings. For J4JAYS, it was a season of proof, presence, and progress. In just a few short months, we went from intimate community events to conversations with investors, from grassroots stalls to industry awards, from a bold new brand to a name that buyers, customers, and leaders now recognise.
This recap is more than a list of highlights, it’s a snapshot of what happens when vision meets discipline, when sensitive skin meets uncompromising care, and when a crown-coded brand walks into its season.
June: Resplendent Royals 👑✨
We opened the summer with the Resplendent Royals event, a space designed to celebrate heritage, dignity, and collective excellence.
This was more than a networking event, it was a statement. Standing in the room alongside leaders, innovators, and community builders, J4JAYS introduced itself not only as a skincare line, but as a movement with roots in service and standards.
Regal Body Butter 👑, Loving Lip Balm 💋, and Fans Only Body Oil 🦵🏾 were at the forefront, representing more than just hydration or glow. Each product told a story: handmade, certified safe from age 3+, free of microplastics and harmful additives, and built to protect hypersensitive skin while enhancing all skin types.
The reception was clear: people don’t just want products, they want proof and presence. June showed us that the crown fits.

July: Black Centennials ⚡ Sankofa to X
July was about heritage in motion. The Black Centennials celebration marked a century of resilience, vision, and leadership, drawing inspiration from Sankofa and X – reaching back to carry forward, refusing to compromise, and demanding higher standards.
For J4JAYS, this wasn’t just an opportunity to showcase products, it was an alignment of values. Hypersensitive skin has often been overlooked, just as many communities have been underserved. By centring those who are most vulnerable, we elevate the standard for everyone.
Standing in a space where history and future converged reminded us why J4JAYS exists. This isn’t gourmet E45. This is skincare with integrity, crafted by hand, with full transparency down to scannable product passports.
The conversations that day weren’t about vanity. They were about dignity and J4JAYS stood tall in that dialogue.

August: Wimbledon Market 🎾 + RMT Reparations ✊🏾
August pushed us into new arenas literally.
At Wimbledon Market, we set up among the buzz of a global hub where tradition meets modern energy. Bringing our products into that space wasn’t just commerce; it was cultural placement. Wimbledon carries its own reputation for excellence, and we matched it with ours. The crowd got to feel, smell, and test J4JAYS for themselves. Regal Body Butter became a talking point, not just for its rich texture but for its lasting quality. Fans Only Body Oil drew attention for its efficiency: one pump, both legs, no compromise.
Later that month, the RMT Reparations Event reminded us of the deeper current behind everything we do. Reparations isn’t only about justice in economic terms; it’s also about restoring dignity, health, and presence. J4JAYS stood in that current, offering care for skin that has too often been dismissed or neglected. It was a reminder that our work is not isolated from wider movements, it is connected, grounded, and necessary.
Awards, Verification, and Conversations 🏆🔍🤝
Beyond events, the summer brought recognition and validation.
🏆 In our very first year, J4JAYS secured four industry awards, including Skincare Brand of the Year and Leadership Excellence in Hypersensitive Skin Care. These weren’t vanity trophies; they were affirmations that our formula, process, and purpose resonate at the highest levels.
🔍 We achieved Yuka verification, allowing anyone to scan and independently confirm that J4JAYS formulas are clean, safe, and built without compromise. Transparency isn’t a buzzword for us, it’s a promise stamped into every product.
🤝 We also sat down with Karl Lokko, CEO of Blackseed Capital, a powerful voice in building pathways for Black founders. That conversation wasn’t about handouts; it was about alignment, readiness, and strategy. Year One proved we have the product and the presence; now the focus is on scaling impact.

Lessons From the Crown
What did this summer teach us?
- Presence matters. Whether it’s a market stall, a heritage event, or a boardroom, showing up with consistency and clarity makes impact inevitable.
- Transparency wins trust. Scannable product passports, clear labels, and ingredient traceability separate talk from truth.
- Solve for the underserved. By protecting hypersensitive skin, we improve outcomes for every skin type. That’s not niche, that’s universal.
- Excellence attracts alignment. Awards, verification, and partnerships didn’t happen by chance; they happened because we stayed sharp, disciplined, and crown-coded.

Looking Ahead 🚀
Summer was proof of concept. Autumn is about momentum.
With Black History Month on the horizon, J4JAYS will step into more events, more conversations, and more partnerships that connect heritage with modern innovation. TikTok Shop is opening a new frontier for us, retail partnerships are within reach, and international alignment particularly in the US – is firmly on the radar.
Year One has already shown what’s possible. From four awards to Yuka verification, from grassroots stalls to conversations with venture leaders, the message is clear: J4JAYS isn’t waiting to arrive. We are here. We are retail-ready. We are inevitable.
