About The Various J4JAYS Product Combinations

J4JAYS Intro

Hello everyone, this is Jay Mullings from J4JAY Skincare (J4JAYS) and I’m here with another post today. As always, you have the choice of either reading the material or you could simply press play, listen along and it will be narrated for you. I want to talk to you about the different product combinations and supplementary uses for the products. I’ll start with the combinations and then I’ll talk about the actual products on an individual basis after. 

J4JAYS Hair & Beard Combination

Some of the product combinations that I’ve been using myself including: For those of us who have beards, it’s the regal body butter with the fans only body oil on top. Check it out, right after a shower, your beard is moist (pat away some moisture with a towel if soaking wet). Then I need you to put some of the J4JAYS Regal Body Butter in your beard to add a little bit of moisture/nourishment there. When that’s done being worked through you add FOBO on top to seal in that moisture. What’s so great about this? You comb it through and immediately you will notice this should keep your beard moisturised for the entire day and it will remain easy to comb for the entire day. You could use this combo in your hair as well.

Alternatively, if you had locks, you could do the same thing again (be very gentle/careful with locs). These are things you’re going to want to try out for yourself, but you don’t need a lot of either product. You don’t need a lot of body butter. You don’t need a lot of body oil. Once a day should be enough to keep it, you know, so you don’t over, over oil it or it doesn’t weigh down your hair or your beard and make it too heavy.

Treatment for Hands and Feet

Another combination is you could try, so for your, your hands and feet, you could try the body oil after whether it’s a hand soak or a foot soak. Then you could also mix it with a tiny amount of the lip balm to like really cater for your nails, cuticles and to soften your feet. 

Face Moisturiser

We’re talking more of an individual use here, however, you can use the body butter on your face. In general, if something doesn’t cause you any irritation on your neck or behind your ears, you can use it on your face. Yes you can use it as a moisturiser! You only need a small amount, enough to feel like it’s lightly covering your face. Any more than that and in hot climate, obviously you would sweat it out. It would become very hot and you’ll look very greasy either way your face will stay moisturised for the entire day.

Top Secret Usage

Another use would be, and this is something I’ve been trialling. I can share that now you can use the body butter as deodorant.

However, I’m going to preface this by saying I’m someone who’s not been using aluminium based or any heavy metal based deodorant for a while. I had to do a detox first, and I’ve been working on a product for that, which is not ready for sale yet, but essentially it draws out all the metals and nasty stuff out of your underarms and that let’s be honest, it’s not pleasant!

That’s not something you want to do when you have to go out every day. So I did it over the course of a couple of weekends, sort of like an underarm mask. At that point, once you’ve gotten that out of your system, you can use the body butter as a daily deodorant. Another thing you could do is use a little bit of the lip balm on top of that to keep it kind of sealed in. So it doesn’t wear off too quickly and it should give you at least six hours of protection. You may need to reapply it if you require longer usage.

If you do need to reapply it, something as simple as wiping the area clean and then applying again and you should be covered. You’re good! Trying to think of any other uses that I haven’t mentioned.

Super Dry Skin

The other thing I’ve heard of is using the body butter and then for people who have really dry skin using a little bit of the body oil on top, similar to what I’ve recommended for use in hair and on beards. It gives you, added moisture and then you seal in the moisture. Personally, I’ve never needed to use both products at once, however, if you have really dry skin, you could try that. It might offer you even more protection and longer lasting protection as well. So there is that…

Mix and Match

if I find out any other further uses for these products, but it’s good to try and mix and match them and just see if you, what your, what your skin and body can tolerate, because everyone is different, but they’re all natural products. So in general, there shouldn’t really be, and they’re all certified, I should say, and they’re certified for use on sensitive and hypersensitive skin. So there shouldn’t really be any issues in terms of clashing.

Just think about the weather, right? If you put too much oil on, or if you put it on too thickly and it’s really hot, then it will make you more likely to sweat. So you just need a thinner layer that stretches and covers the area and so on and so forth. But yeah, by all means, experiment.

DO NOT EAT

Someone said I needed to include a warning that you shouldn’t eat it! It does say it’s for external use only, which I think tells you, you shouldn’t be eating it! However, I’m saying it right now.

Do not eat the products. Doesn’t matter if they smell like they’re good enough to eat, don’t eat them LOL
